Las Veletas, Carménère 2018

Las Veletas was initially set-up by two friends, Raúl Dell’Oro & Rafael Tirado, who just wanted to make wine for friends & family. However, they quickly discovered their talent and love for winemaking, and turned their hobby into a profession. Today, they farm across Chile's renowned Maule Valley, and make wine designed for enjoyment at home amongst friends. Carménère 2018 is a gorgeous ruby red in colour. The nose has aromas of black cherry, blueberry, cocoa and a the classic minty-herby note indicative of all good Carménère. The palate is medium-bodied, with silky tannins and a balanced acidity. A great wine to pair with grilled pork.
